Functional Lead (Destiny One ERP BA ) 2020-422P

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 11, 2020.

Our client, a leader in the education industry, is looking for a Functional Lead (ERP BA) who has strong ERP experience
– ideally with the the cloud based Student Information System by Destiny One.

RESPONSIBILITIES  Effective communication and information sharing to team members and across project leads  Lead a team of business, process and system analysts to implement a new registration system  Lead and manage the assigned project work streams  Provide process and change management leadership  Coach the team members to lead the facilitation of stakeholder requirements gathering workshops and sessions  Act as the escalation path for all system, process, and business analysis related issues  Coach and train the BAs to leverage the standard BA tools and techniques and Humber standards, templates and tools  Provide direction and guidance to the BA team to effectively and efficiently collect, analyze and document user stories, business / functional requirements, and POCs  Lead the BAs in defining systems, integrations and technical requirements in collaboration with the Technical team  Support the BA team in effectively communicating the benefits of the OOTB (out of the box) implementation and receiving buy‐in & support from stakeholders on required business process changes  Guide and manage the end‐to‐end process documentation, mapping and workflows by utilizing BPM techniques  Support the project director in developing effective & timely change management communication & training QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE  Leadership of the Team: 5 years in a lead role, directly managing teams of business, system, and process analysts.

 10 years of experience with Business Analysis tools and techniques, including experience with process and change management methodologies.

 ERP system (Destiny One / Flexible Registration) implementation is an asset.

 Familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Business Analysis industry best practices.

 Ability to understand and work with the business stakeholders including but not limited to: Directors / Managers (registration and marketing processes), Finance staff (Fees, GL, AR etc.), Registrar Office (current processes, data migration, learner support) and Information Technology Services for system integration processes.

 Ability to work independently and also be proactive in raising and resolving issues  Ability to navigate through ambiguity, help the business stakeholders to clarify the business requirements and identify the business decisions required for the functional implementation.

 Strong vendor management experience, particularly with time and material / deliverables‐based approach with global resources.

 Demonstrated communications and change management experience.

 Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability of providing leadership to a diverse project team and interact comfortably with senior personnel in the organization  Public sector and /or higher education sector experience will be an asset Education and Certification Requirements:  The successful candidate will have a four (4) year Degree, or equivalent, in in a business‐related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt and certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
