One of our telecommunication clients is looking for a Full Stack Developer (TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, API Development, Kibana, NewRelic, React, & Redux exp.) Length: Contract term is 12 months with the possibility of an extension Location: Toronto, ON (100% Remote for until at Least June 2021) You will be working as part of a friendly, cross-discipline agile team who helps each other solve problems across all functions.

As a custodian of customer trust, you will employ best practice in development, security, accessibility and design to achieve the highest quality of service for our customers.

We use a range of technologies to get the job done: JavaScript and Babel (ES2018) coupled with Webpack, React, Redux and other libraries to provide a modern, easy to use JavaScript toolchain.

A central Design System is used for styling and hosts shared components, while our RESTful APIs are built with Node.js, Postgres and Redis.

We also use GraphQL and Apollo.

Quality is a primary concern, and we test our applications at multiple levels with Automation Testers and Product Owners embedded within teams.

Project details: Working with the B2B Team Team size and environment: Squad of 6 Team of 50 This is a true full stack role with part of the focus being on the backend applications using Node and API Development tools (Such as Express, GraphQL, OpenAPI), but also needs experience with modern JavaScript development on the front end using specifically React/Redux.

Not looking for JAVA Developers, looking for JavaScript developers You’re the missing piece of the puzzle:
● Shown experience in backend and API development (we use Node.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL and Redis).

● Validated experience with front-end development (ES2018 JavaScript, modern CSS).

● Proficient in React and Redux.

● Strong experience with writing unit tests (we use Jest on the frontend and Mocha on the backend).

● Experience designing and documenting APIs.

● Experience with FRP (functional, reactive programming).

● Ability to mentor other junior developers.

Must to have skills: (please at least 3 skills/exp): 1.

Must be a modern JavaScript developer (ES2018)
– 2-3 Years minimum demonstrated experience 2 Core competency in Node.js / Express.js / Apollo (GraphQL knowledge preferred or OpenAPI knowledge) 3.

Core competency in React / Redux (2 Years Minimum Project work) Great-to-haves:
● Knowledge and experience with TypeScript; we’re hoping to switch to it one day on front-end applications and backend services
● Experience in building scalable production services and monitoring performance (we use Kibana, NewRelic)
● Experience with clustering technologies (we use Kubernetes)
● Familiarity with the Docker ecosystem
● Openshift / Jenkins / AWS experience
● Typescript experience
● PostgreSQL experience
● Kibana, NewRelic experience
