Overall Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, the Financial Analyst (“FA”) will aid in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting, financial analyses, budgets and forecasts.

The FA will be responsible for analyzing performance, communicating results and assisting in financial diligence in the company’s decision-making process.

The position provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with cross-functional leaders and will play an integral role in providing financial analyses on the international business to drive strategic decisions.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties The candidate will be responsible for the following: External Reporting – Aid in communicating timely and accurate financial results including causes for variances against prior year/budget and forward-looking implications.

This includes preparation of quarterly financial statements (IFRS), MD&A, financial results press release, board meeting materials and providing investor relations support as required; Commercial Finance – Provide commercial support to the international sales, marketing, and operations teams.

Build financial models to assess results and perform ad hoc analyses in order to provide actionable information that will impact the company’s financial results, automate processes to drive efficiency and operational excellence; Budget and Forecast – Manage the international entities’ financial planning process for budgets, reforecasts and financial projections.

Responsible for quantifying the financial impact of business initiatives, recommending viable options and validating key assumptions.

Manage the budget and reforecast timelines, submissions and scenario analyses; Variance Analysis – Analyze monthly, quarterly and yearly results against prior year and budget/reforecast.

Provide deep insights by understanding, analyzing and explaining variances while providing tangible recommendations for improvement; Special Projects – Global expansion projects, ESG initiatives, and other ad hoc projects as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements Obtained or working towards a Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA required), with a strong understanding of IFRS 1 years in a financial role, audit experience preferred Exceptional analytic and financial analysis skills, ability to dig into detail without losing sight of the big picture Experience with financial modelling Excellent time management skills (ability to multitask, manage deadlines and prioritize deliverables) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Strong communication skills, both verbal and written OUR VALUES INTEGRITY
