One of our government clients is looking for an ETL Database Developer (Designing, Developing, Implementing) Length: Contract term is 7 months with a possibility of extension Location: Toronto, ON / Remote Currently Description: The Environmental Monitoring and Reporting Branch (EMRB) with MECP has a number of science monitoring applications that rely on data from the existing Labs Information Management System (LIMS), which loads data into the Environmental Datastore (EDS).

With the implementation of a new LIMS system (targeted to go live Jan 2021), a risk was identified that these downstream applications and programs will no longer be able to receive laboratory data as the new LIMS solution will not integrate with EDS.

The LIMS Mitigation for Downstream Applications (LMDA) project was approved to remediate the data break by developing a new solution that will load data from the new LIMS system and perform data transformation into an appropriate format that will be acceptable to transfer to EDS, thus, ensuring business operations for EMRB remains status-quo.
