Our well established private sector client is looking for an Embedded Software Team Lead who has the ability to effectively lead and manage a team that provides recommendations and delivers reliable solutions.
This requires someone with start-up experience who will be an integral part of the development team and will have numerous technical challenges to overcome.
Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership and technical direction to software engineers.
• Responsible for the management of resources and processes of the department.
• Responsible for lifecycle management of Software development including architecture.
• Communication to senior management on release status, risk areas and issues.
Background:
• Strong technical and leadership skills.
• 5 years of software leadership experience in a small to medium sized company.
• Experience in leading software design and development teams in both Windows and Linux environments for technologies that control hardware.
• Advanced knowledge of python and object oriented programming languages.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines.
• University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
