Battery energy storage system schematic and circuit design Focusing on battery energy storage systems and their integration in electric vehicle propulsion systems; Driving the battery electronics development roadmap, focus on battery energy storage, system electronics design and integration of other components of the electric propulsion system; Working to design and integrate electronics systems to vehicles and related systems to achieve production performance, quality, cost and timeline requirements Contributing to the development of product architecture and system components, from design to production, and ensure these systems are reliability after release Leading electronics systems development in design, simulation, prototyping, and validation of battery and analog electronics production Helping define a robust system architecture and complete the detailed design of test hardware and software, taking into account functional safety requirements, FMEAs and DFx; Supporting the board manufacturer for circuit design, component placement, board routing and PCBA manufacturing.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS You have the ability to work in a project startu2011up environment with objectives that are in the process of being defined; You detain a Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in electronics You can write and speak both English and French; You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing battery systems electronics designs & components You demonstrate strong interest in driving and designing recreational & performance vehicles; You have experience in product architecture and with a full development cycle, from prototyping to production; You have already participated in initial component development and carefully balance product specifications, process requirements, layout complexity, cost, and lead-time limits; You are able to define the most efficient plan for testing, focusing on test time reduction and low complexity to promptly release vehicles for production; Ability to use standard electrical components and tools (DSPs, microcontrollers, programmable logic devices and their peripheral circuitry, simulation experience with MATLAB….) You can perform circuit analysis and simulation using LTSpice or equivalent You have the have a deep understanding of mixed signal analysis and signal processing, analysis of switching, analog, and digital signals using oscilloscope and other circuit debugging tools You have Strong hardware foundation to understand and select ICs, passive components, and power semiconductors (MOSFETs, BJTs, IGBTs, Diodes) for designs and tests You demonstrate proficiency with design process integration and electromechanical / mechatronic systems; You have positive attitude, strong communication, adaptative working in multidisciplinary environment skill for delivering success as a team You know the PCB design, layer stack up with Altium designer.

Hands on experience and DFX Experience with Schematic capture and PCB design tools, especially Altium Designer PCB layout tool Excellent lab skills and problem-solving techniques.

Experience with EMI/EMC requirements and how to mitigate related issues in design.

Knowledge of safety agency requirements and how to design for compliance is an asset.

Excellent communication skills among teams and with vendors Self-motivated and disciplined.
