Director of Software Engineering (Toronto or Remote)


This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 9, 2020.


To join an enterprise Technology company that’s in a B2B marketplace vertical as a Director of Software Engineering.

This role will combine your technical skills and your leadership skills to drive transformation in product and ship great software.

This position reports to the VP of Software Engineering.


Leading a team Managers, Tech Leads and Software Engineers (in a Scrum environment) to build out world class software products.

You’ll be collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, and others for requirements and development tech solutions.

Keeping up to date and growing out your skills, both technically and as a leader should excite you.

THE TECHNICAL DETAILS: -You should have a strong background (7 years) with Java, the Spring Framework and other opensource technologies -You should have at least 2 or more years working with modern JavaScript libraries (Angular, React, Vue etc) as a software leader -You will be working in a AWS cloud environment and versioning code in Git/GitHub.
