We need an amazing Product Manager to help lead our product strategy for the application security category of our portfolio.

As Director of Product Management your primary mission will to create, collaborate, communicate, and execute our Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) product strategy.

This is a new role for an emerging team that will work within the Security Business and Group and closely with Cisco’s Emerging Technology & Innovation (ET&I) organization to bring CNAPP capabilities to market.

Use your passion to solve customer security problems that lead to the creation of new products and businesses within Cisco.

What Will You Do
· Own and drive SBG’s leadership to co-create the CNAPP product strategy in collaboration with Cisco’s ET&I team.

· Clearly define the use cases and jobs to be done for the security user and buyer personas for CNAPP and the components of the category.

· Engage with customers and partners to gain and maintain a strong outside in view of the product value and outcomes necessary to be successful in the market.

· Assist in the creation and review of the business plan needed for Cisco to become competitor in the CNAPP category.

· In collaboration with Engineering, Design, and ET&I roadmap and prioritize the delivery of CNAPP products to the market.

· Create and drive the objectives and key results required to deliver CNAPP capabilities and products with engineering, marketing and ET&I team.

· Evangelize, enable and excite sellers, partners and customers about Cisco’s emerging CNAPP capabilities.

What We’re Looking For Market Expertise: be an expert and scholar of application security customer personas and the associated ecosystem.

Technical Acumen: You will work closely with engineering to understand technical tradeoffs and their impact on the product.

Being comfortable in the code is a plus, but not required.

Product Sense: Our favorite product managers bring together insights from every corner (customers, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams) to design and build the best product experience.

Curiosity: The best candidates understand that creativity and growth start with a curious, humble mindset and asking thoughtful questions.

Ownership: The best product managers take the responsibility of delivering a successful product to heart, and step in wherever needed, even if crossing typical role boundaries; they never shy away from the details nor lose sight of the bigger picture.

Communication: Effective communication to any audience (company leadership, engineering, customers, and more) is key to success in this role.

Collaboration & Co-Creation: Success will be dependent on your ability to work, influence and lead cross functionally.
