This team has technical expertise, innovative ideas and business smarts – and we won’t waver in our focus in driving results to enable exceptional and reliable customer experiences Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together As a DevOps Engineer in the World Class Assurance for Business team, you’ll report to the team Manager and be part of a group of highly engaged technical experts.

The team focuses on improving our clients experiences with TELUS across all of its services, doing so by accelerating our response to incidents and automating the fixing of these by reducing the required amount of manual and operational work they currently require.

Help develop a real-time view and enhance the performance, availability and stability of our systems, to drive business outcomes that improve the reliability of our services and retention of our customers.

Leverage your technical and influencing capabilities to foster the proactive collection, analysis and resolution of reliability-impacting issues across all TELUS Customers’ systems & services, and help build the roadmap and strategy towards the automation of the resolution of repeat issues.

In doing so, you’ll drive improvements in reliability, productivity, efficiency and internal partner satisfaction.

Here’s how Drive change and our Culture of Reliability’s values and way-of-thinking within your team and with other key stakeholder DevOps teams Develop scalable, resilient and reliable reference architectures within our Managed Services portfolio, with an array of various applications & arching toward AI &ML Technologies such as NetOps application suite and build incident management processes that are data-driven and automated Architect, Implement and deploy systems and tools that will generate faster response times to incidents through correlation of key events Deploy “Monitoring-as-a-Service” processes and platforms allowing devOps teams to elevate their performance You’re the missing piece of the puzzle You are sought out for your proven track record of and ability to drive technology change, taking teams and processes to the next level You are experienced with fault and performance management toolsets and workflows, able to develop, deploy and multi vendor solutions You are recognized for your understanding of and experience with Network Management Systems, Networks, Cloud, Unified Communications, Active Directory, Single Sign On, AI and Machine Learning You are respected for your expertise and ability in developing and implement sound architectures and provide Tier 3 level support to operational teams You are knowledgeable about incident management, problem management, change management processes and their best practices You are a great communicator, able to tailor your message to all levels of the organization, technical crowds and senior leaders alike Great-to-haves University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business 3-5 years’ experience with NetOps suite Experience with fault and performance management toolsets: Spectrum 10.x, eHealth, Performance Management, Apache, PHP, MySQL, ETL, Talend open studio, webservices and Linux shell scripting Experience with or ITIL and/or Togaf certifications A bit about us Our business is connecting Canadians.
