CyberHunt: Senior Software Engineer, Backend

You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of the product development cycle.

If you are someone that enjoys problem-solving, web technologies and looking for an opportunity to learn, grow and lead a team of developers, then this challenge is for you.We are building and scaling our application using modern tools that our team knows and trusts, including Node.Js, React, GraphQL, GCP (Cloudrun, App Engine, Compute Engine, etc.), MongoDB and more.Expertise in these areas is a huge plus, but having familiarity with other common web languages (such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) and other document-based databases are acceptable substitutes.What you will be doingYou’ll brainstorm with the team to conceptualize and build new features for our users.You’ll actively own components and features and define their long-term trajectory while improving on other parts of the system.You’ll help our sales, marketing and operations team resolve production issues.You’ll mentor other engineers and deeply review code.You’ll enhance engineering standards, tooling, and processes.You’ll design and architect both internal and public-facing product features.You’ll produce high-quality results by leading or contributing heavily to functional projects that have a significant impact on the business.You’ll ensure performance, scalability, availability & security in all aspectsof the application.What you should haveYou’ve been building web applications professionally for 5+ years.You can lead technical architecture discussions and help push technical decisions with your team.You write understandable, testable code striving towards maintainability.You are a strong communicator.

You can explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers.You understand and appreciate strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval (artificial intelligence is a bonus).You have a graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.We look forward to meeting you!
