Coordinator – Continuous Improvement

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Working under the direct supervision of the President, the Coordinator of Continuous Improvement designs and proposes strategies to reach organizational goals through optimization and streamlining of business processes. The position involves researching, recommending and implementing best practices in the field.

MAIN TASKS

• Develops and proposes projects to improve processes
• Ensures progression and optimization of processes and work methods
• Standardizes and optimizes business processes according to best practices in software implementation
• Improves methods and processes using continuous improvement tools
• Analyzes and targets inefficiencies along with any losses in profit and productivity within the organization
• Coordinates development and follow-up of action plans to ensure the continuous improvement of business processes and their implementation in the relevant teams
• Facilitates process improvement meetings
• Manages change resulting from the implementation of new methods
• Trains managers and employees during implementation of new work methods
• Ensures compliance with and application of improvements
• Acts as main resource person for all improvement projects
• Meets goals in line with Commsoft’s strategic orientation

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, in operations management and logistics or in any other relevant field
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience relevant to the position
• Experience in ERP system implementation is a definite asset
• Awareness of the realities of small and medium-sized businesses
• Mastery of the MS Office suite
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French
