Communications IT Technician


This is a Contract position in Saint-Cesaire, QC posted November 17, 2020.

To support our growth, we are looking for a Communications IT Technician.

As a member of the IT Team and under the supervision of the BALL Communications Manager and Quebec IT Supervisor, he will work with the IT infrastructure Team on various projects, more exactly on communication tools.

Mains responsibilities :
– Operate Smacs tools in IP Telephony (CallManager and UnityConnection)
– Install and support desktop phones and WiFi
– Install and support conference rooms (ChromeBox, etc )
– Install and support Access-Points
– Install and support cell phones
– Install and support Walkie-Talkies
– Install and support network cabling
– Perform certain tasks in Cisco Prime
– If required, install and support desktop and laptop computers, software and printers
– Purchase supplies and equipment
– Participate in certain projects in conjunction with the IT infrastructure team.

– College graduate or equivalent
– 1 to 3 years of experience Requirements:
– Perfect expertise of the Windows 10 operating system
– Knowledge of IP Telephony
– Knowledge of WiFi
– Knowledge Apple IOS, Android
– Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English
– Must be able to work at heights, if needed Work conditions:
– Permanent full-time position
– Office located in Saint-Césaire (then moved to Station B (Solar Uniquartier in Brossard) during 2021)
– Moving through our BALL plants.
