Compensation is base salary.

As our Cloud QA Lead , you will closely work with the Cloud Engineering Team, Software Architects and Development Teams to define, setup, and maintain QA testing strategies, test plans and test procedures related to our Cloud environments; the scope of this role includes developing test strategies to ensure resiliency to failure & disaster recovery, testing Cloud security, and testing deployment automation pipelines; the role will act as a bridge between the Dev-Sec-Ops Cloud engineering and QA teams.

You will Develop test strategies related to our evolving Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment model Work with other QA leads to develop test strategies related to the integration and maintenance all our software products, focusing on the infrastructure side of the equation Work closely with performance test engineers, security test engineers and the Safe Fleet test automation community to develop testing strategies that enable automated full cycle testing from development through to deployment in production Develop test strategies and test cases related to the following areas:
– Testing of the deployment’s procedures
– Smoke testing the deployed infrastructure
– Integration of test scripts with the monitoring tools, allowing application & infrastructure health to be monitored during testing phases
– Integration with the automated functional test cases to also run automated application
– level smoke tests, post deployment Continuously improve our product deployment automation and monitoring capabilities to improve our deployment processes and server efficiencies Work closely with onsite and remote development teams to understand how the systems integrate together You should have At least 4 years’ experience working through the design, development, testing and release cycles, delivering software products to market Solid and demonstrable experience working with Cloud Infrastructure technologies: (containers, load balancers, VM’s, failover resiliency, storage, data replication approaches) Good understanding of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases, like MongoDB Experience testing structured configuration data such as Kubernetes configurations, pipeline definitions, terraform code, serverless configs, or any other structured data Experience with Static Code Analysis Tools: Terraform, YAML Lint, and Helm Lint Experience with Source Control Management Tools (Git/Bitbucket) Experience with Maven, ANT, Gradle for build tools Experience automating using Python, Shell, Bash and PowerShell SDKs for AWS and Azure APIs
