The Cloud Lifecycle Advisor supports our customers through every step of their cloud journey.
They are the engine that propels our customers through the stages of REACH
– RAMP
– EXPAND in the cloud, making Softchoice an indispensable and trusted partner.
What you’ll do: You make every interaction with our cloud customers meaningful by listening to them, surfacing unstated needs, learning about their desired business outcomes and collaborating with Softchoice teammates and external partners to meet and exceed their requirements REACH: You collaborate with account managers and technical resources to ensure every potential cloud customer has an advocate at Softchoice who understands their unique challenges and positions the appropriate cloud solution(s) at the right time RAMP: You assist in the development and upkeep of the customer’s cloud roadmap, you are an extension of the customer’s team and their goals are your goals – you proactively provide guidance about smart cloud procurement, cost history reporting, forecasts, cost optimization recommendations and you conduct periodic cloud ‘healthchecks’ EXPAND: You have a passion for business transformation and you can effectively use storytelling to communicate the art of the possible in the cloud, you monitor the customer’s progress toward their goals outlined during the ‘reach’ and ‘ramp’ stages, you are a conduit between customer stakeholders and Softchoice teams ensuring we deliver successful implementation projects, you’re comfortable providing light mentorship to accelerate customer teams in their cloud journey Issue resolution: You are the person our customers reach out to first when they need help with cloud procurement, billing questions or cost management advice
– A CLA always takes extreme ownership and operates with a customer-first mindset, acting as a cross-functional liason to ensure issues are addressed quickly and resolved thoroughly.
Where relevant you are encouraged to provide input regarding process improvements in support of better customer experiences What you’ll bring to the table: Comfortable curating content, adapting presentation decks and presenting to both business and technical stakeholders Obsessively organized, disciplined, accountable and capable of independently driving issues to resolution Ability to work cross-functionally coordinate and lead meetings with multiple stakeholders to arrive at a collaborative approach to issue resolution and process improvement Build constructive working relationships with your incredible Softchoice colleagues across North America, across other business units, senior leaders, external partners, and of course, Softchoice customers Some familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform and a track record of continuous learning, acquiring/applying new skills and succeeding in a rapidly-changing environment An understanding of the economics of cloud technology business would be a bonus Outstanding oral and written communication skills Above-average proficiency with common productivity tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Sharepoint, G-Suite, etc Some experience as a contributor or subject matter expert in operational change projects would be an asset Capability to write, edit and publish digital content Not sure if you qualify?
