Chief Business Developer & Partnerships Officer


This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted June 22, 2022.

Many of our roles can be done remotely, but some require working primarily from our innovation hub.

In-person connection is important to us, so we get together regularly for special events, collaboration days and team socials.

What you’ll be doing: Responsible for revenue generation from public-sector, foundational partners, and broader private sector partners.

Provide leadership & collaboration for outward facing teams including Ecosystem engagement, External Relations and Founder Services.

Design strategies that attract investment including securing funding and growing revenues Partnership development, management and solicitation for the True North Strategy and True North Fund Build,foster and strengthen relationships within the innovation ecosystem Work with the CEO to develop corporate strategy, manage board relationships, and mentor several sister organizations in the Canadian innovation ecosystem.

All duties subject to change Qualifications: A verifiable win record of leading business development in a not-for-profit or public sector environment Strong detail and process orientation
– can manage multiple competing priorities and customers with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver results Outstanding relationship and interpersonal skills Strong communication skills
