Business Intelligence Reports Developer

We would love to meet you As a Business Intelligence Report Developer I, you will participate in the design, implementation and support of BI reports and dashboards that provide timely, accurate, and meaningful enterprise data.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and creating all client facing reports and dashboards as well as support users who create their own reports.

Part of the responsibilities will also include managing and maintaining external data sources used by BI platform and tools.

What are the main responsibilities?

Resolve user query and report issues by working with them to understand the issue and giving them technical assistance or involving the required resources (system administrator, etc.) to do so; Build complex reports/dashboards using sub-reports, drill downs, complex formatting and conditional formatting; Develop and validate reports within standard programming and report design practices; Work with all areas to resolve data issues and identifying root causes; Provide first-level technical support; Understand the business processes and business rules to assist with data extraction and transformation.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

University degree in computer science with 1 to 2 years of related work experience; Knowledge of SQL Server, RDBMS and SQL language; Knowledge of ETL/BI Tools; Knowledge of Cognos and SSRS; Good analytical and practical approach to problem solving; Strong verbal and written skills (French and English); Team-oriented, adaptable, flexible and positive; Customer-service oriented; Motivated and curious self-learner.
