BRP: Analyst Programmer


This is a Full-time position in Eastman, QC posted March 27, 2021.

The Systems and Technologies group develops computer equipment, software and systems to meet the needs of manufacturing operations.

This is your chance to be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.

You will take part in major projects on the cutting edge of Industry4.0 technology.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As Programmer Analyst, you will participate in system development for vehicle assembly operations.

These projects are varied and broad in scope, from the exchange of information between business systems (ERP, PLM, MES) to the connection and control of equipment on the assembly lines.

Your key responsibilities will be to: Evaluate internal client requests and propose solutionsEvaluate the resources needed to develop solutionsPlan work and coordinate resources to meet prioritiesMonitor project progress (resources and budget) and touch base with internal clientsDevelop, validate and deploy the selected solutions to meet client needsSupport manufacturing operations and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or another relevant fieldMinimum of 5years of experience in programmingKnowledge of object-oriented programming (Java, .NET, Python)Experience with the Spring Boot framework and microservice architectureKnowledge of SQL programmingFamiliarity with Agile and DevOps methodologiesDemonstrated leadership, influencing and communication skillsExperience with Docker containers and orchestration tools such as K8s and MicroK8s an assetExperience in the manufacturing industry and with the ISA‑95 standard an assetFluency in English and French AN EXCEPTIONAL AREA!
