Job Description As a Protection Solutions Insurance Advisor , you are responsible for selling Health, Dental, Life and Travel Insurance by handling inbound sales calls, as well as some outbound calls directly from internal lead generation and providing information in a professional, effective manner to our clients.

We have customers waiting to speak with you, we generate the leads.

This is a unique opportunity for those with the right skills to obtain an LLQP license should you not already have this requirement.

Manulife will cover the cost of an accredited education provider for the Harmonized LLQP course, as well as the exam and licensing fees .

Must be flexible
– shifts are between the hours of 8:00 am
– 8:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday and 10am-5pm EST on Saturdays.

What will you be doing?

Responsible for handling inbound calls and initiating some warm outbound prospect sales calls for travel and health & dental insurance Providing advice, needs analysis, and completing sales applications Accurately recording prospect feedback in an online system Meeting sales and quality measures on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Regularly communicating with prospects and clients both orally and in writing Supporting various marketing/sponsor campaigns Escalating issues, concerns, and trends to the Manager

Education and Experience: Experience in a telephone and/or sales role, call centre or travel agency experience is an asset Post-secondary degree is an asset; however, equivalent business experience is strongly considered Life License (LLQP) is required or to be obtained within 3 months of start date Skills and Attributes Ability to work in an open office environment and manage multiple day-to-day tasks Demonstrated ability to persuade and negotiate through consultation over the phone and possess active listening skills An aptitude to navigate multiple programs at the same time while speaking with customers.

This includes an ability to learn internal systems along with a proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and Internet Explorer Attention to detail in gathering and accurately recording all customer information Proven problem resolution and conflict management skills to ensure an effective solution is reached for our customers Bilingualism in English & French an asset What is in it for you effective your start date?
