Avid Technology is looking for a senior software engineer for the Music Notation software Sibelius.You are an engineer with a passion for music ?Interested in joining a professional, fun and dedicated engineering team to work on music notation software in Montreal ?We’re looking for YOU !The Sibelius engineering team is looking for a solid engineer, interested in helping us continue to build and improve our music notation software.

Required SkillsBS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degreeExperience designing and implementing accessibility features in C++ on Windows and macOS platformsHigh level of C++ object-oriented programming expertiseExperience working with a cross-platform UI layer such as Qt and/or working directly with Cocoa and Windows API’sFamiliarity with music notationStrong English language skills, written and oralExcellent communication and team skillsSelf-Starter with the ability to work independentlyDesired SkillsExperience refactoring in a large legacy code baseNotation, MIDI and/or audio programming experienceExperience with Agile DevelopmentOur employees enjoy technical challenges, they are dynamic, passionate, creative and yes, they come running (or bicycling) to work!
