Analyst, Support & DevOps

To help it fulfill its mission, LifeWorks has developed the Ariel suite of computer software. To meet its growth and the demands of its customers, LifeWorks has put forward several development projects for its Ariel suite, most of which use the latest Microsoft Azure technologies.
The tasks of the person selected for the position will include the planning, analysis, coordination and execution of the tasks of a team that will be responsible for the deployment and operations of the Ariel IT suite. This team will also be responsible for the development and configuration of fixes of the system in various environments, on premise and on the cloud.
This person will work with business analysts, development and infrastructure teams to coordinate and execute the work necessary to achieve our objectives.


  • Provide direct support for technical questions to client implementation teams and with the use of the LifeWorks Ariel solution;
  • Contribute to root cause analysis related to requests for changes to software or internal processes;
  • Perform regular follow-ups with the different support teams involved in root cause analysis and functional support to make sure the service level agreements are respected;
  • Document requirements and provide expected results to the different support teams for investigation;
  • Perform infrastructure and system/software configuration changes to fix issues;
  • Use the appropriate tools or software to assign requests to other support/dev teams, track or follow up on requests;
  • Use scripting and programming to automate recurring/scheduled tasks and/or facilitate handoff
  • Manage assigned tasks effectively to completion in order to meet high level of service;

Requirements :

  • Have an appropriate university or professionnal education in computer science or computer / software engineering or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge in modern and legacy distributed systems architecture (REST/SOAP/Message Queues/Bus)
  • Windows server, IIS and/or Azure cloud environments experience
  • Basic SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS environment and SQL query development knowledge
  • Flexible schedule that may involve sporadic off business hours on call / support and able to work with tight deadlines;
  • Have a good spirit of synthesis and a great ease in understanding, systematizing and popularizing technical concepts;
  • Demonstrate independence and autonomy;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Have the ability to develop an overview of a system;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills;
  • French and English, spoken and written is a requirement

Assets :

  • C#/.NET knowledge
  • Powershell scripting  skills
  • Knowledge of how pension systems work
