If yes, come tune your skills to develop the next state-of-the-art open source network automation system and work alongside developers making contributions to the ONAP open source community!In one sentenceResponsible for design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software systems, and serve as an expert on specific modules, applications or technologies, and deal with complex assignments during the software development life cycle.All you need is Knowledge of design patterns (Ex.

“Gang of Four” patterns, how Lazy Loading works).

Java framework experience Strong python experience (must have) Knowledge of Java 8 or 9, understanding of new language features.

Kotlin, Scala, and Groovy is a plus.

Exposure to microservices architecture Experience with ELK, Jenkins, DevOps, CI/CD, Gitlab Git, with some CLI command experience Cloud native experience (Docker and K8S), have played with Docker manually and Kubectl cmds Strong understanding of networking, concepts of SDN, and how code and networking interactNice to have Experience in ONAP.

Come to us excited at the prospect of working in network automation, with a basic understanding of what it means.

Be able to answer the basics (what is ONAP for, what is ONAP CDS, what is a VNF, understand ODL, Openstack, and other network technologies) Come with examples of how you have learned a lot on your own time, show willingness to do things on your own before seeking expert advice.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with experience in a customer-driven environment.OverviewThe aim of this open source project is to build a widely accepted NFV technology platform for service and application innovation, and YOU can be at the very center of this development.Operators urgently need a streamlined way to manage their networks and launch new services at the click of a button, and we are building it!

The Linux Foundation’s ONAP project is ushering in a new collaborative relationship between the operator and vendor.
