Account Manager Commercial Insurance

The Insurance Account Manager:

Ensures customer development by taking charge of prospecting, solicitation, development of business relationships and sales using his/her ability to persuade and to convince. The account manager ensures representation and promotion for the sales of products intended for business customers, analyzes their needs and supports them in choosing appropriate protection. He/she remains on the lookout for opportunities in the markets and ensures the conclusion of sales to customer satisfaction. He/she works closely with account managers and members of the administrative support team.

Main Responsabilities:

  • Develops a business plan that includes development strategies and submits it to theirmanager for approval.
  • Identifying potential clients, soliciting them, and scheduling appointments.
  • Supporting our customers, assessing their needs, analyzing the level of risk, presenting business insurance products, and supporting them in choosing appropriate protection.
  • Ensuring influence and visibility of the company in its environment and participating in business relations activities in the community.
  • Maintains a highly professional relationship and close ties with clients.
  • Identifies, develops, and maintains a network of contacts and a circle of influence.
  • Contributes to the development of the sales department through his/her involvement and feedback.
  • Stays on the lookout for opportunities and puts forward any improvements, changes and innovations that can help optimize the department’s processes.
  • Contributes to the influence and positioning of the company in the business environment and the local community.
  • Provide efficient and high-level customer-service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bilingual 
College diploma (DEC, AEC)
AMF permit
3-5 years experience
Keen Knowledge of Laws and Regulations in the field of Commercial Insurance 
Professional title or PAA an asset
