Position SQL Server DBA Location Vancouver, BC Canada (work Remote) Compensation 75,000 95,000 Excellent Benefits Job Description This Client is one of the leading Canadian service companies, with offices across the country.

They are recruiting for a Database Administrator, SQL, to support, maintain, and optimize their SQL database servers, with a focus on maintaining the SQL servers to support the business systems.

Position can be located in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa, or Vancouver, but it remote home based until after the pandemic.

Responsibilities Install, manage and optimize MS SQL servers, 2012, 2016, and 2019 and Azure.

Support the data warehouse, SSRS, and SSAS domain.

Develop SSIS scripts when required.

Troubleshoot issues and help resolve them.

Create customized forms for the financial system and assure workflow integration.

Interact with end users, operations, and the technical team to support and enhance SQL servers and other tools.

Partner with softwarehardware vendors to resolve issues and modify systems.

Provide operational, technical and procedural documentation and tracking.

Qualifications 7 years of work experience as a SQL Server DBA.

SQL Server Administration to include database design, creation, maintenance, security, and backup.

Very strong working knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.

Create and maintain scripts, jobs, views, triggers and stored procedures.

Strong understanding of T-SQL and enhancements.

Worked with Tuning Advisor, Business Intelligence Studio, and configuration manager.

Strong communications and multi-tasking skills.

Excellent time management and organization skills.
